Can this be done? I never had fat down below until recently. This really annoys me. not only can I feel that area bigger but it makes me feel as though I have a pouch when I don't. Can smart lipo help this area or regular lipo?
thanks

Hi! thanks.
It is suppose to be safer then regular lipo. I copied and paste this for you to read. If you’re seeking a cutting-edge, highly effective method to significantly improve the safety and efficiency of many surgical techniques, then laser technology is definitely the technique you’ll want to consider. Routinely used in dental procedures, lasik eye surgery, reconstructive work and cosmetic procedures—including liposuction—laser technology is what sets SmartLipo apart from its competition. The word “laser” is an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Precise and safe, today’s medical-grade lasers work by creating a powerful light beam that is adjusted to a specific frequency range. View More... Is SmartLipo Right for You? Almost anyone can be a good candidate for SmartLipo. In general, the ideal candidate: (1) is in good health, exercises regularly, is within 25 lbs. of his or her ideal weight; (2) has one or more areas of local body fat deposits that have responded poorly to diet and exercise; and (3) is bothered by these fatty areas, and is motivated to get rid of them permanently. Our doctors and staff will review the benefits and risks of SmartLipo during your consultation visit. We will assess whether you are a good candidate with respect to your medical health, and clarify what SmartLipo could do for you. View More... SmartLipo Technology SMARTLIPO uses the latest advancements in cosmetic surgery technology, which provide a safer, quicker and cost-effective method. Pioneered in Europe, the SmartLipo procedure is the first laser-assisted liposuction procedure. SmartLipo was approved by the FDA in November of 2006 and has quickly been labeled the cutting edge procedure in cosmetic surgery. According to SmartLipo’s manufacturer, Cynosure, the SmartLipo system has quickly become one of the most successful liposuction procedures in the cosmetic surgery field for its use of cutting-edge technology. I'm not sure about smartlipo but I had lipo on the pubic area per my PS's suggestion...LOL I guess he thought it looked puffy looking. Well between that and the TT pulling skin up from below I look like I'm 20 again. My husband LOVES it. Not to mention how much smoother I look in a swimsuit.

Yes, it can be done. Smart lipo can be done all over. I thought about it, but the only PS that does it here scared me away! So still sticking with just exercising to lose it!
Love ya! Norma

During my recent BL/BA, I had smart lipo under my chin and my neck area (it looks great btw). I also had regular lipo around my abdomen and he surprised me and lipo'ed a bit around my fat pad (pelvic area). I didn't think that my fat pad was that fat, but I guess it was. LOL
So yes, lipo-ing the pubic/pelvic/fat pad area can be done and the results are great. ![]() ~ Carol |

When I had my TT my ken doll area swelled big time and felt all squishy. It did go down took it about 3 months then more every month after it went down. I would think they could lipo anything if needed though???

Hi Ladies,
Smartlipo should be seen as only icing on the cake. Smartlipo, in most cases requires standard liposuction first. What the Smartlipo would do is cause additional tightening and somewhat smoother results. And, yes it can be used in your mons pubis. Best Wishes!

I am also facing the same problem. I consulted a Lipo Specialist, she said its not a big deal. You also consult a Lipo Specialist in your area and wish you good luck! |
