Captique is in the
hyaluronic acid filler family. Captique is
a dermal filler for moderate to significant facial wrinkles or folds and also
lip augmentation. Captique was approved by the FDA in December 2004 and is made
by Allergan Corporation and Genzyme Biosurgery. There is no need for allergy
testing as Captique is a non-animal hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler.

Capitque comes supplied as a colorless gel for injection in a 1 ml syringe, to
fill volume that has been lost due to aging. Captique lasts approximately
between 3 to 6 months. Cost of treatment will vary depending on the geographical
area you are living, but average runs approximately $400 to $500 per cc.
